..for all is nothing without you.
Come, Hold My Hand, Go With Me
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCLXI)
What is't about the distant view's detail
With lacework gates, half dead trees framing thence,
Blue heavns beyond, as buildings rise for sense
In lo, the rear of these, which seems to scale
Likeas downtown? Chicago lost its bail
Whenas my father died, since aught pretense
Of charm or grandeur was his making, dense
With all my daddy could craft to avail.
He loved the city. From New York as t'were
To chi-town, he could make the city woo
Your soul. Elsewise, the heart gone, all is poor,
These buildings old, decrepit, people too,
I canna cherish any of't. Bestir
A vision and leave me to wander through?

(The day initially free, I was able to craft aebleskivers for breakfast before I was mercifully called in to pull a shift.)
Too Soon T'will Be Summer
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCLXII)
A chunk of butter for fresh 'skivers dense
With buttermilk's 'loved flavour, that detail
Of plastic doggy bag maunt ruin; t'avail
Me even on the clock is yummy hence,
Although to be at home's far better, whence?
Dream of what we can do once I'm back, frail
As only dreams. From spinach smoothies' trail
To pizzas, roast beef sandwich, rubens' sense.
Drink Milo's Sweet Tea with fresh lemon fer
The morning, maybe brew fresh coffee to
Start off the week tomorrow? How birds stir
Sweet mem'ries of late Spring with songs on cue
For end of April as all wears as t'were
The face of that 'loved season, LORD, of You.

And life goes on. Memories portrayed and delicacies devoured. Day to day time passes. Very nice Chic
