Silently facing the demons of the unknown
accepting the fate of the fabrics that life has sewn
Not knowing if all will be well
Or if life is meant to be a living Hell
The mind is racing through a million thoughts
but a brave face makes it ok, or so we are taught
is this all that life is really meant to deliver
Everyday facing demons of the past that will make us shiver
the demons of the present are hidden in our everyday life,
finding every loophole there is to cause us strife,
the demons of the future is what most scares me
because the power they gain is unheard of and make us believe they will set us free
but we must remember that we have a saving grace,
we just have to accept Him and give His living water a taste ,
He can free us from the demons of our past present and future,
but we must give Him our hearts to suture
We must allow God to surround us in His shining light
And give Him the authority to guide us in every fight
He is Holy and Mighty, He is our saving grace and love
He is our King and our Lord - our Father above

A lovely write around their strong faith and beliefs, nicely worded and expressed
Thank you
You are very welcome
Very nicely rhymed and written with great organization this poem flows from beginning to end. Very nicely written
Thank you my friend
I tend to think of 'demons' in a real sense. Sometimes they can be thought of in a metaphorical sense, I think, and not be real demons, but just used as a figure of speech - if you follow?
CS Lewis said there are two dangers about demons: one is to see them in EVERYTHING; the other is to see them in NOTHING'.
Behind every figurative demon is a real one in my opinion
Though some folk just call troubles, etc their 'demons'.
True
I love the picture, it's like bitter cup symbolism. And the line "fate of the fabrics" is brilliant!
Thank you dear ❤️
Your faith is so very strong Melissa, may it continue to bring you strength.
