Alive
Too young to care
Busy with living loud
Born on the wind, my youth flew by
Quickly.

Like youth itself short and to the point. A lovely poem Thomas
Thank you.
The problem with youth it just goes to quick, enjoyed the read
Thanks.
You are very welcome
Good write T.
Thanks.
Unfortunately, my youth also flew by quickly. I think that old age is a long jump before eternal darkness. Is there anyone willing to dispute this fact?
Thanks, Natalie John 3:16
Oh so true. Youth does fly by so fast and you glance back and think, where the hell have those years gone. Great brevity Thomas.
For sure. Thank you, Cassie.
I could see a Harley Davidson in this one. 🤣 It sure does fly by my dear Thomas. 🌹
Lol. Thank you, sweet Teddy.
wonderful
love it short but meaningful
Thank you.
And surrounding that quickness is a youthfulness that is far reaching and enduring. 🙏🏻🕊
So true. Thank you.
in short compact verse, you have described how youth is squandered away.
beautiful
"Busy with living loud" what an expression!
Youth has a way of being so very transient, adults sometimes telling us, while in our folly, we are either deaf or else too ignorant... and you know what they say: "ignorance is bliss." Beautifully rendered in effective brevity with a pointedly haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
