Way Of The Word

orchidee

Tune: Gwalchmai

('King of glory, King of peace')

Psalm 119 v.97-104

********

How I love your law, it be

To me pure, free

My meditation all day

True is your way

O Lord, through your commands you

Guide me anew

I wiser than enemies

E'er they with me

I have more understanding

Here in each thing

Than all my teachers, for your

Laws they are sure

My meditation, and I

Keep your laws nigh

I understand more then they

Who agéd be

It is so because I keep

Your ways, your sheep

Am I, and I have refrained

Myself, disdained

From every evil way, so

May your word know

I have not departed, see

You have taught me

How sweet your words to my taste

I do make haste

To keep them diligently

For they here be

Sweeter than honey to me

Your precepts daily

Give me understanding, I

To you ally
