Ms. Neal - The Sonnet

JuneM

Her laugh is loud, strange, and so obnoxious

Cutting through the air like a knife through heart

However, almost always contagious

Like some harmonious yet uncultured art

And her hair, falling in imperfect waves

Like waterfalls of raw copper honey

But her soft jaded eyes deeper than graves

Her walk weird, attempts at jokes unfunny

Yet always a lesson behind her words

Her outfits are bizarre, unexpected

She still walks around like a feathered bird

Untouchable, a goddess dejected

Yet motherly, and sweeter than chocolate

Much hides behind her smile, a door shut
