Gone

John Prophet

Gone.
Deep
into the
aether.
Lost
to the
sands
of time.
Fading.
Into the
dark.
Just a
memory.
Once
entwined,
part of.
Fissures.
Split.
Eruption.
Flying
pieces,
debris.
Sailing
off.
Momentum
strong.
No
turning
back.
Humpty
Dumpty
unsalvageable.
Rubicon
wreck.
Those
closest
cut
deepest.
Never
to return.
