it's hard to kill a ghost
if you can't stand to be in
your own damn company,
that could send you to the grave
i've searched high and low for an
answer but never found it
we always look at others and
don't know what to do ourselves
the spectre destroys the spineless
and the inverted smile reigns

There is then some use to turn a frown upside down 🙏🏻🕊
Definitley, and that's where humour kicks in.
Without humour and laughter I would not be able to survive in this deteriorating world.
How do we understand others if we don't understand ourselves? How can we judge others in such a circumstance? A great poem existential in nature and yes an inverted smile is where it is left.
Understanding yourself is probably the most difficult thing there is.
I'm still struggling sometimes and have come to a point where I realise that I just don't fit in what mainstream society wants.
That's okay, i've created my own society.
I just do what I want to do and interact with people I want to interact with, that helps a lot.
They say we must understand ourselve in order to understand others,I don't believe for some it is as simple as that, it can be a very long battle for some to find their real self, nicely expressed write
