victim

MR.apocalypse

i dont look for a victim cuz the victim is me

a victim as much as a victim can be

Oppressor plan A and a victim plan B

a victim as much as a victim cant breath

a victim until no one else can stand me

until i feel like someone  else has dammed me

i am a victim so i cant be anti

IM A FUCKING VICTIM DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME...

  • Comment from author about the poem: in this day an age victims have more power than normal people. they are put up on a pedestal.... so everyone wants to be a victim..... so that they too can have this social power....... its very weird

In a way it is a reversal of power. It is most frustrating when weakness is a value and reinforced. This is not nature's way and is bound to have bad consequences. Good write

i have fell "victim" to these thought processes in the past using them as an excuse to not take any responsibility for my own actions .letting it become my personality that i am a victim of the past instead of working for my future.

Your note following this pretty little number in tribute to the phenomenon is helpful. Yes, the victim culture is twistedly popular. Yet the sway such characters have isn't worth the seeming clout. Excellently rendered with a striking and haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

i find it rather true in american culture.
where we pin one people as evil or bad a fault for all the issues.......and the only way to escape these labels is to become a victim......because nobody is going to blame a victim of anything or be outwardly rude or mean to them.......so it just leaves the people like me who are labeld as an evil person for things i cannot control..... and i refuse to become a victim so i will stoped being attacked by these people.....but i suppose by saying this i am labeling myself as a victim?.... i would rather the term a social construct destroyer

Yes, I suppose the way you're rendering your own case seems to own the victim mentality. Yet it is not a necessary perspective simply owing to having enemies, elsewise who wouldn't be a victim?
