Her

Tony36

Beaten by her husband
Abandoned by the one she loves
Broken hearted
Bleeding
Half crazy from being betrayed

She runs out to the shoreline
Throws herself into the ocean
And drowns

For thousands of years after
She roams the shoreline at night
Never resting
Always moving
Until the sun comes up

The next night
She walks again

Haunting is a good word for this poem. A poem of violence, betrayal, death and darkness that comes back to haunt. Very nice Tony

Very haunting, Tony. The after effects of abuse. A poignant and urgent message about the consequences of such evil in this world. Well done, my friend! 🐦‍⬛🌹👏
