Ancient Thought

John Prophet

Ancient

thought.

Spinning

up.

Past to

present.

Mesmerizing.

Old ways

still

permeate.

Modernity,

replete.

Fear.

Superstition

still holding

sway.

Ancient

thought,

ways

gripping

firm.

Holding

civilization

at bay.

Generations

passing forward

superstition,

fear.

Old thought,

how valid?

Truly,

what

did the

ancients

know?

New

reality

forming.

Taking

hold.

A.I.

wiping

it all

away.

We are our past just as one ring in a tree forms around another. Much of the old still has value and the ancients not ignorant as we think were wise. AI may make a new world where much more is lost. A wonderful write John

The past still has great value today, and one could argue they were wiser than us, but the fear of A.I. is it will wipe and eliminate so much from the past, very enjoyable read
