Nothing ever goes as you thought it would! It's either significantly better or drastically worse but never as you may have imagined it to be.
Do be careful what you wish or believe, the chances are you'll be brought to your knees.
Basking in the glory of memories or haunted by them for eternity.

- Comment from author about the poem: I'll be honest I've not been in the best place for a very long time. I don't write, I don't sleep, I don't dream and it just repeats. Each day I just pretend and get on with it but now I'm back to try and change this pattern or just leave more of my mark. Much peace and respect, keep up the write.

A knowing power radiates from sombre words and lines. Hope you are well or getting there🙏🏻🕊
Hopefully getting somewhere my friend but after nearly 44 years I think it's just the otherside of a dark pool!
Really appreciate your time
Then there is movement in the slightest. Perhaps there are parts where the pool is less deep. 🙏🏻🕊
May your memories be those that were good in your life Dan. Keep well.
Andy
Try my friend but negative will always be more powerful than positive but your right I have both and sure I will again. Once I survive
Always appreciated
A cycle that all to often people find themselves in, nicely expressed in this write, hope things go well

Expectations are seldom met. Voiced in this poem now a new expectation that it won't be met either exceeded or less will this expectation be met? Fun read
