My guitar

Tony36

My guitar

My best friend

Having major surgery

To have its strings replaced

For the time being

While you are gone

I will have to carry on

I wept with you

My heart bled with you

Emotionally charged jam sessions

But I know when I pick you back up

You will be better

You will sound better

And we shall jam once more

And we shall jam like never before

In this poem personification leaves the guitar as if it were a member of the band recovering from an surgery. Very nice Tony

The human like relationship with the guitar make its feel so heartfelt.
Love it! Wish I knew how to play!

Love the personification of the guitar. Anyone who has one and plays one (or more of them) knows this is EXACTLY how it is! Well done, Tony! A fave from me! πŸŒΉπŸ‘πŸŽΈ

There is a bond between artist and their instrument that is unique and unlike any other! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•Š

A cracking poem. Describing the restringing as though it is a medical procedure, a fascinating idea.
