Playing with my Mind

TheWanderer_and_his_Ms.Reverie

I walk alone where echoes sigh,

Lifting dreams that pass me by.
Over the years, through silent pain,
Vows still whisper your sweet name.
Even as shadows steal the light,

Yet my heart still holds you tight.
Over and over, I stand, I wait,
Unraveled by the hands of fate.

Time rewinds, but never mends,
Only silence calls us friends.

Echoes fade, yet love won’t die,
Torn between the truth and lie.
Endless longing, hollowed eyes,
Rays of hope lost in the skies.
Never yours, though once I prayed,
I was the choice you never made.
Tomorrow lingers, cold and wide,
Yet I still feel your love beside.

Im just a side quest in your adventure to find love.
