Silence.

Jonathan Merida

Silence always operates in such extremes. From one second to the next peace twists becoming maddening. Silence, never louder then when the only voice present is your own and never more serindipitus then when it’s the gentle breathing of your lover. Silence there by your side in times of restoration, caving in your chest in times of sorrow. Worse still can be the silence of another leaving lingering questions but that same quiet with a simple touch says everything you need to know.  Silence my dearest friend, my oldest enemy.

Beautiful it leaves a mood of peace. The last line is superb and contrasts the elements of positive and negative. Lovely
