Against All Odds

Ezekiel Olayemi

Life is never fair, it's true,

We complain, but what can we do?

Life's rules are many, we must abide,

To live a single life, with no extra pride.

Live happy, never sad, that's the way,

Allow love to guide you, every single day.

Loneliness may come, but don't you fret,

Love strengthens the heart, and won't forget.

Don't let rules weigh you down, don't be blue,

Fight your way through, and see this journey through.

Get a partner who loves you, through and through,

Build a family, and train them to shine anew.

Live a good legacy, that's what we strive,

Leave a mark that's pos

itive, and alive.
