Jimmy The Bully Man

Poetic Licence

Jimmy the Bully Man.

5 Ft 11 tall, as wide as a shed Jimmy the bully man.

Always searching to find the smallest child he can.

He wants a bit of fun by knocking someone around.

In the corner hiding, little Pete is the one he found.

Big Jimmy started to slap and kick little Pete about.

Little Pete was so scared, no one offered any help.

He raised his leg high, big Jimmys balls it was bound

Now Jimmy was in agony as he laid on the ground.

The rest of the school children assembled and laugh.

Because big Jimmy no longer feels so hard and tough.

Standing up to a bully is more important than winning but winning helps. A good write my friend.

Yesss! I love the fire in your childhood self and this describes a real life scene I was invovled in where I had to stand up to a bully. The result, the same...not the same exact action, mine a punch to the face...but the laying on the ground and not feeling so big and tough...yup. And bully no longer bullied me anymore. Only that particular one stopped, of course, and there were times I lost and/or was beat up by groups of kids. But in that one instance, I moved like a butterfly and stung like a bee. Well done on this, Nataiella. Thank you for posting this throwback and for its message. A fave from me.

There were bullies in school that got their comeuppance Tobani, strangely I became good friends with one after we left school, he was fine.
