Children Have Rights.
When children are born, they are born with rights whether they are born out of a loving relationship or quickie on a late Friday night.
It is the greatest responsibility of all adding a member to the world's population, it is our duty and their right we love and care for our creation.
It does not matter if parents are separated or live as husband and wife, they are both morally, emotionally, mentally, and physically accountable for the brand-new life.
To nurture and feed them with love as they grow and develop through the years, remove all dangers and fears so their pathway in life is always clear.
Create an environment they feel safe and protected from harm, regardless of what is happening in their life with them, they should always remain patient and calm.
Their troubles are not the children’s troubles let them develop in their own way, always pay attention and listen carefully to what they do and what they have to say.
Wrap them in that cloud of love that says I will be here for you every day, never be too busy to talk, listen, help or play.
They should not take their anger and frustration out on their tiny little skin, always be understanding patient and forever forgiving.
Do not force them to relive all their aspirations to be in life, let them find their own way in their own little strides.
Let them develop their own beliefs, values and interests, do not enforce on them parents always know best.
The contribution they make to the adult world will all depend on how they let their children unfold, they don't need a ton of money and a large family house that’s not what raising children is all about.
Just be a kind, caring, loving considerate human being and lead by example, they should remember they don't own them they are there to guide them.
So, whatever their situation is in the harsh world we live in, take responsibility and they should do their best they can for their creation.
Hold their hand as you guide them through life, always love them, cherish them, protect them, nurture them, keep them safe from all harm be by their side, these are the children's rights.

A most noble write Tobani one that I can sense you feel strongly about. Children are deeply dependent on their parents for survival and learning and they didn't ask to be here so it does behoove those that made that decision willingly or not to provide for them. Nicely said

This is so true, Tobani. No child asked to be born and those who have children owe them provisions, love and care. A bold, passionate, and needed write. Well done! 🌹👏

So very true Tobani, children should always be protected, love and encouraged in their lives. I cannot ever understand why people can hurt children!
