Cottony billows of pillows, cloud's linen case ripped, feathers fall
Goose down snow, drops on a white blanket below, winter in a lace shawl
Seasonal ice negligee, melts away, revealing naked earth
Grounds belly swells, above her loin's dells, bursting spring's birth
Summer reposes, sleepily dozes in lazy steamy dreams
In a gown of roses her beauty exposes, stitched with flowering silver streams
Fireworks of colored spark, flaming leaves shower in autumn's dark, night falls
Life's dress gently embossed with a shroud of crystal frost, lips of a cold wind calls

Soren,
Loved the way you started and finished in the same season. The circle of life! What beautiful snapshots of Mother Nature told from a lover’s point of view. Loved the font that flowered and flowed like the Négligée. Thanks for sharing. I feel like I have new memories.
Thank you MD for the review and most generous kind words of support they are valued and most important to me
A most excellent and beautiful write on the passing of the seasons. Indeed, it may be April, but I woke up with some snow today. It'll be gone by the end of the day...but quite apropos for the reading of this poem. Wonderful job, my friend. 🌹👏
Thank you my friend for your most kind words of encouragement and support they are always appreciated
You are most welcome, Soren.
A beautiful painting , Soren.Your poem masterfully personifies the seasons—winter, spring, summer, and autumn—using breathtaking imagery and metaphor to describe the awe-inspiring transformations occurring in nature throughout the year. You beautifully illustrate how each season brings distinct beauty and characteristics, while also reflecting the passage of time and the changes in the natural world. Your poem may be intended to celebrate the splendor of nature and the profound emotional resonance that changing seasons evoke in human experience, inviting readers to revel in the transformations occurring in the world around them. Your poem is replete with sensory imagery. For example, "Goose down snow" and "gown of roses" evoke visual and tactile sensations. Metaphors comparing seasons to clothing, such as "cloud's linen case" and "Seasonal ice negligee," convey beauty and transformation.
Thank you Friendship for your observant read and most kind words of interpretation they are gratefully received. And such is life itself.
