Little Wolf

M.E.M.

Do not think her a “Little Wolf.”

Her powers were nurtured

with the darkest of intentions.

She craves the power

Darkness offers—

submission of her enemies,

control over the weak.

Little Wolf, she is not

But a mighty White Wolf

Whose appearance beguiles,

and whose eye glints with evil intent.

She was taught to trust no one,

and fear is what she felt most

Before the shadows within

choked out the ember of a hero

she might have become,

twisting her into a monster

feared by both friend and foe.

Nicely painted in words this image of someone trained not to trust we can see in many around us and in ourselves too , if we look in a mirror. Very nicely worded.
