Tune: Love Unknown
('My song is love unknown')
John 13 v.12-16
*********
Christ washed disciples feet
And then He took His seat
Said, Know you what I here
Have done to you, it clear?
You call me your Master and Lord
And so I am, true is your word
If I then, your Lord, see
And too your Master be
Have washed your feet, so you
Ought do humble deeds too
In washing ones another's feet
And so my example repeat
Do as I have done to
You, to each other too
Truly the servant he
Not more than his lord be
I not greater than my Father
But He greater than me rather
Sharing in bread and wine
At Passover divine
Bread, His body, did give
Wine, His blood, so we live
For He the Lamb of God at feast
Life given for greatest to least
