Sometimes you just want the company you wish for
not the company you have
like someone you know better
like that leaf next to you
on a tree
but that leaf is over there
there not by your side
when you want them to be
so you have the company that’s here
when you wish you had someone else around you
that’s a little lonely , really ..

A feeling of being just a little out of place. Nicely said
Thankyou )) thatβs exactly how I feel , sometimes .. out of place
It is. I know the feeling well, sadly; though, I'd imagine for you, the dissociation adds a different and even more difficult layer to this. Well done in expressing this. I'm sure we're not the only ones who have felt that way and thus this will be a healing read for those who have. And for those who haven't...awareness is raised. Again, well done. πΉπ A fave from me.
Thankyou very much
Yeah , dissociation and feeling certain ways makes it feel worse . When I feel certain ways in my mind and struggling to β feel β connected , to myself and others .. and missing people ( that can make me sad )
But it depends ..
Yeah dissociation sometimes makes it hard to feel I can connect to others
But itβs sometimes easier
Thanks for the kind words of support
You are most welcome. Yeah, there are always exceptions to everything and, perhaps, in cases such as this those exceptions are small graces given us. You are most welcome, my friend. Thank you for your willingness to share. I am very thankful our paths have crossed and we get to "know" each other as best as we can in this format. Happy vibes being sent your way. ππ€π
Very relatable to many, not quite in the right place at the right time, nicely expressed
Good write D.
May that loneliness be gone soon Yellow Rose.
Andy
that happens quite often - the company around is not the one we crave, and the company we crave is sometimes not around - but that's life
