A blind heart has no eyes no ears to hear kind tears
A tongue paints alibis, dreams calm fears
Truth is soon forgotten but lies become immortal
Memory prefers thrills now rotten that flow from mouth's portal
Intuition is a condition that a few listen to
A proposition to an inhibition that out of nothingness grew
So sleep my child, soft visions will take you away
To lands of chocolate that never melts under the heat of day

Thank you so much David your words are deeply appreciated
The innocence of childhood and the fantasy of the Easter bunny are concepts we are taught as children. Your poem explodes with imagination in the harsh reality of life, providing the comfort of escape rooted in dreams and fantasies. It explores the complexities of perception, truth, and the power of imagination, contrasting the harsh realities of life with the soothing solace found in dreams and fantasies. The "blind heart" is a metaphor for emotional unawareness or denial. "Tongue paints alibis" suggests the act of creating false narratives. You seem to explore the contrast between truth and deception, the power of imagination, and childhood innocence. While truth may be fleeting, lies can endure, emphasizing the importance of dreams and intuition in navigating life's complexities.
You have caught well the major themes in this piece. I thank you for your read and perception Friendship they are truly valued. Yes indeed all of these are true and in innocence we dream.

Happy Easter to you too. I got a botox egg from KP. Boohoo! LOL.
I have cooked up another tasty meal for you to give to her. I'll put it out in a few days I'm letting it ripen first.
Is it sewage stew? Her favourite! LOL.
Far worse wait and see
Ahh good! lol.
Ah, intuition is a much needed ingredient, like rich, Belgian chocolate…sadly far too many hearts are not guided by it. Brilliant metaphor, my friend.
Thanks so much Tristan for the read and comment as always it is appreciated and valued
You are most welcome, my friend!
Happy Easter my friend!
Thank you so much and a Happy Easter to you as well
Your message is one to decipher. Lies can become truths if told often enough. This is a philosophical take on life—history repeats itself, and people continue to be fooled by the demagoguery of crooked leaders. I hope I understood the message correctly. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much for the read and interpretation. They are most appreciated and valued.
We must always keep our hearts open soren.
Andy
Thank you Andy for the review and yes closing one's heart is akin to closing one's eyes. Appreciate the advice
