roaring tides

arqios

Notice of absence from arqios
🕊 🙏🏻🕊️

The winds howl their raucous decree,
Sea-born gods bellow—wild, unshackled!
Foam-crested steeds surge forth,

Brazen, unbridled, shattering silence!
The song of the deep erupts—

Silver tongues twisting in unison,
A chorus sung not in words, but in waves,
Infinite! Immortal! Unyielding!

Not only entertained with a most magnificent piece of literary work but I learned something as well. The word choices for this poem are most artistic. A beautiful creation that moves the reader and itself as waves in the sea, a tempest in the soul. A fave

                    • arqios

It’s awesome to learn stuff. Much of my early writing was dithyrambic in tone and structure. Once I learnt the classic form it made more sense what was at the beginning just intuitive. Thanks for your valued words🙏🏻🕊️

Your poem captures the wild beauty of nature perfectly—so powerful and vivid! It reminds me of the ocean waves in Monterey, California, or the crashing waves at Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico.
