When spring arrives, the green sprouts peer
through concrete curtains below
They're shy at first, but when it's clear
Leaves open to embrace her glow
But seasons come and seasons go
From summer buds, beauty bestowed
The leaves will fall as seeds are sowed
And colors vanish with whites of snow
Though time moves quick, please do not fear
For there's one thing I know
Through troubled times, green sprouts still peer
through concrete curtains below

A beautiful poem of nature and the season. I loved the change of rhyme scheme in the middle stanza. Very well written.
