Notice of absence from arqios

π ππ» see you all in June! ππ»ποΈ
O Lord of ecstasy, of frenzy, of the unstoppable tide,
Look upon this withered world and laugh!
They have traded crowns for shackles,
Strength for safety, truth for lies—
But we, the scorned, the unbent, the unbroken,
Still raise the cup, still wield the blade!
Let the age whimper in its chains,
While we dance in the ruins of their shame!

To freedom, to upholding our stance -
We celebrate and we dance!
Loved it!!! Few lines but a lot of spirit in them!
Thank you so much ππ»ποΈ
A magnificent revelation of a truthful mirror that we do not want to look into. Like the bloated, overfed, unkept we fear the mirror and prefer to live in the fantasy of safe politically correct surroundings trading freedom of speech for false safety of pretended lies of reassurance and entitlement. We have handed over the reigns of control to those that make promises carried in the wind. A lovely write that speaks with power and reproach that few are willing to hear. A fave
Most thankful to you Sorenπππ»
And sometimes against the grain as well.
A strong reminder to stay true and defiant, even when the world seems broken and lost.
Well written!!!

Remain true to one's self and principles and defy any person/entity that tries to deter that. Always seek truth, always seek righteousness, always draw seep for inner strength than sell out for safety. No matter the cost. This poem, my friend, hits home in this way and in others. A powerful poem! πΉπ
