Shrouded by snow

thinkerbell

A piece of earth bleeds

Life spills over barren land

Snow falls like autumn leaves

On the dead land

Buried beneath blood

The earth gasps for air

As tears of snow

Drizzle in despair

Shrouded by snow

Lies a paradise , lost in disquiet

What a metaphor here it like the snow itself disguises what lies beneath. This is a bit haunting being cold and stark. Very well written

Beautiful winter wonderland imagery. Although dark. But dark can be beauty and proved it well.

what a soulful write - my heart bleeds for the people there - my childhood neighbors were kashmiris and they were one of the most caring people i have met...i wish peace for this beautiful land
