The Silent Hillock

[email protected]

Upon a hillock, weathered yet bold,
Where time has traced the tales of old,
The whispering winds in gentle sway,
Carry echoes of yesterday.

Its crest kissed by golden light,
Where dawn awakens dreams in flight,
And when the dusk begins to fall,
The shadows dance, they heed its call.

Alone it stands, yet never lost,
Through seasons’ love and winter’s frost,
A sentinel of earth and sky,
Watching as the years drift by.

Beneath its feet, the world turns fast,
Yet in its heart, the echoes last,
It hums a tune, so soft, so deep—
A lullaby for those who seek.
