and when we again separate 

through death as we inevitably will

 

I’ll leave no stones unturned 

I will track you down 

I’ll forever be your shadow 

I will never let you down

 

eternally yours forever,

because my darling...

        If we operated on logic alone, what a foreign and cold world that would be. That said, for some, romanticism turns absurd well before death—let alone the idea of eternal union. For such, that might be its own version of hell! 🤣 This is a great write that made me both laugh and reflect. A definite fave, my friend. 🌹👏
