Why Does Romanticism have to be Absurd?

Teddy.15

I will search for you in our afterlife

I won't rest

until we are reunited also in death

we will become alive once more

and when we again separate

through death as we inevitably will

I’ll leave no stones unturned

I will track you down

I’ll forever be your shadow

I will never let you down

eternally yours forever,

because my darling...

soulmates aren’t just a paradox.

Melodrama is the cornerstone of romance and what exaggeration better than love beyond life. But alas logic does not pervade in the land of emotion. A wonderful write Teddy

If we operated on logic alone, what a foreign and cold world that would be. That said, for some, romanticism turns absurd well before deathโ€”let alone the idea of eternal union. For such, that might be its own version of hell! ๐Ÿคฃ This is a great write that made me both laugh and reflect. A definite fave, my friend. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘
