there is no lack in you

arqios

So you have discovered
And
Continue to uncover,
Imagery and metaphor
That only you uniquely
Can share with the world

If however you choose
To silence your pen,
Then the world would be at a loss....

There are among us,
Many scientists,
Who have expressed themselves in verse?
Wonderful poetry and fiction...
It is a known territory
And a very open road

Is the key to poetry,
Its music and dance?
In which the writer partakes,
While articulating what
Their Muse has stirred within them?

Having said thus,
We should never allow ourselves,
To compare
And envy one another,
For we are all unique
And have individual voice
To speak
And such
Springs out and from which we draw from

Our sole duty is to be faithful
To our voice,
Our source and our muse

Such good advice but like a novice guitar player listening to a Stevie Ray Vaughn or Jimi Hendrix one can not but help to dream. But I'm with you for it is not to copy exactly but to put one's own flavor of life into it. Yes indeed make it your own. Lovely

Yeah, comparing is inescapable but being ourselves completely is something we can stop ourselves from becoming as well. Dreaming is part of our journey, imitation is part of growing and part of making life our own. Thanks kindly. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ™πŸ»

You are most welcome, my friend. Sometimes, all that is deserved is praise. No words. Just praise. This was such a time. πŸ™πŸŒΉ

Loved this write so much truth in it, always write as yourself and as you feel, if you write to please, I feel it looses it's honesty and feeling and meaning, does not matter if it is liked or not if it came from within you, very nicely done, have a great weekend

                  • arqios

So true. There’s more, so much more to post but I’m attempting to find a better pace and timing so each gets the exposure and interaction they deserve. Have an awesome weekend πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•ŠοΈ
