No more mind games
No more mind
No more playtime
To play with mine
I broke the hands
On the clock
Those beating hands
They ticked
They tocked
I hated it's gears
It's batteries
Like
Captain Hook
And
First Mate Smee
I killed that time piece
Smashed it to bits
There'll be no more tocks
There'll be no more ticks
There'll be no more seconds
No more minutes to fade
No more striking hours
I ended your days

Dealing with annoyance in the most direct manner. A fun read
Thanks!
This poem flows so well. Well, done my friend. 👏🌹
Thank you!
You are most welcome!
You're not unlike a fellow poet I used to know, who loved to give us rather crass but humorous pieces for our indulgence. It was the night he read a most delicious piece, superbly detailed, to the utter and complete destruction of a computer that I had to ask him in conclusion whether it was fact or fiction. The deadly reality was the former. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much!
