In blue and green, the Canucks take flight
Their passion ignites, the crowd's delight
With every pass, a story's spun
Of grit and skill, the game's just begun
The rink's ablaze, with cheers and sound
As Vancouver's pride, hits the ice bound
Bieska's hits, a force so bold
The Canucks' spirit, never to grow old
Through wins and losses, the fans stand strong
Their blue and green hearts, beating strong all day long
For the team that wears, the colors with pride
The Canucks are the hometown team, where hearts reside

- Comment from author about the poem: This is a very old poem I wrote about my hometown hockey team. The player mentioned in the poem is no longer playing for the team. But he is still a proud member of the organization.
