You know?
Who Ever Knew Such A Monday Morning?
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCCCXXIII)
If rain falls after we're in bed t'avail,
Oh, do we sleep the faster in defense?
Rise long ere dawn for work, brew Barry's thence
And have't with shortbread, washing dishes trail
From last night's fete, to craft our breakfast's tale,
To showr and head off into work, night dense;
Yet how the robins loudly sing fr'intents
From all oer, like their job and sweetest bail.
Huge puddles, nary downpour, like in tour
The rain is waiting? How an owl'd wait too,
There in my path through thickets. woods few stir
Alive for half a thought, deer passing through
Across my path, like what, eh? They know fer
All that, Thee, LORD. All wait anon for You.

yes, where, exactly?
Can Paul Bunyan Ship Aught From--
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCCCXXIV)
How do the hours flit by til black night thence
Encrouches? Aught we knew lost on the trail
To slumber, I've been up since that detail
Of twa hours after midnight, and from hence
Am fairly silly now tis evening. Whence?
She calls about the order we'd avail
Her of last week, a lampshade lacking bail
Now it is ope'd, five dollars not 'nough sense.
I allus thought the lamp gigantic, poor
As quite forgetting when we searched all through
The options. Now I think, five dollars were
Not near enough for huge. So guess we'll rue
Our wee mistake with laughter, nor bestir
Hope in that case. Oh LORD, we wait for You.

...who knows what grief means.
Where You Are Not the Only One
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCCCXXV)
Rain haunts the hope of yonder, light so pale
And silver, dawn is quite forgot, noon thence
What quite redeems in softer hours a sense
Of golden light which warms as sparrows hail
With cheerful cries, where hide-n-seek's detail
Toys with the latter half of April, dense
As t'were with notes of Summer in defense
Of weary souls who yearn for play t'avail.
Italian meatballs wait my choice in tour
As stir-fry seems an option which may do,
The scallions, cauliflowr, shrooms, bell peppers fer
Else, canned chunk pineapple's pure sweetness too?
The freekah's good in lieu of rice as t'were,
And all I want is: gumption. LORD, where to?

[I've never yet lived in Wisconsin.]
Of Plants and Monstrous Lampshades
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMXXVI)
I packed her lampshades to survive from thence
The move, but not a reckless knife's detail;
She blythely sought replacement to avail
The monstrous lamp Paul Bunyan left fr'intents,
And learns of late that such owns ne defense.
A mini lampshade, fluted just to scale,
Was Cynthia's style, yet it is nary bail
For her gigantic lamp, hopes vain pretense.
We laugh oer that mistake, to search in tour
For those dimensions which she needs, and rue
The purchase for a penny. Plants as t'were
Not quite allowed for passage, we ne'er knew
Quite what the rule was 'til today. Is't poor?
She's got a new one now. LORD, we wait You.

I was musing on Paul Bunyan last week and the algorithm must be in place (lol). And stir fry is just relish! Cauliflower reminds me of Adam Driverโs heist with Chaning Tatum. ๐๐๐ป
Yay! Way too fun! Thank you, thank you so very much!!!
Most welcome! Fun is good๐๐๐ป
Precisely! That's too cool you were likewise mulling Paul Bunyan last week. Dearest me, what next from this romp?!
Indeed!
Yea Chic the whole bed issue has been a long term issue with me. When you mentioned rain I said its time to go back to bed. I love sleeping on a rainy day when I can hear the rain on the roof. Good write
Love it
Thank you.
You're welcome
Watching several 'Alone' series where various adventurers try to survive alone in what mostly seem to be hostile rainy environments, and lie low in their improvised beds starving until it all passes.... Wasn't you there somewhere,..... was it?
Dunno.
