Risen Rejoicings

orchidee

Tune: Lux Eoi

('Alleluia, Alleluia! Hearts to heaven')

************

Light and life and celebration

Hope and joy for each nation

Christ humankind came to redeem

Though all lost in sin did seem

But Light of the world our darkness

Did dispel, came to save us

Christ arisen, dies no more e'er

In His risen life we share

He to certain ones did appear

Resurrected, they Him there

Saw in person, life eternal

He gives, forgiveness for all

Help us, Lord, to on you focus

You the sole Saviour for us

For salvation in no other

There be for sister, brother

When two travelled to Emmaus

They said, Did not within us

Our hears burn, when He did us show

The scriptures, so now we know

It is He who to us appeared

On our journey to us neared

And broke bread as in days of old

Risen now, gospel be told

If those guinea pigs ate all those sweets, their A1C levels would be risen for sure! All jokes aside, great hymn-poem, Orchi Wan, who should NOT be confused with the other Obi W Kenobi! Loved this lots, my friend! 🌹🙏
