Torture Me

Alex PB

Notice of absence from Alex PB
Writin' more and more poems is my job,
I shall write when Shakespeare is back.

Why do you torture me with silent words?

Your black silhouette in the midst of an angel,

You enjoy my pain of burning each petal,

Why do you torture me into making me mental?

Why can't I tell you what I want to say?

My feelings are pieces of glasses that I bite,

My tears leave scars on my face where I want your lips on,

Why do you torture me when I'm on my knees for you?

Why do you torture me when I say I'm in love with you?

My heart aches and screams for your presence,

My skin churns for the grace of your touch,

Why do you torture me when you have me?

It is the weak that we torture because the strong are too powerful, It is the chained dog that is beaten for it can not run and the caged bird because it can not fly. A sad poem of pain and I feel the plea from the victim that is not heard. Sell written
