A ball of fluff

Nicole Pritchard

A ball of fluff comes, sits in my lap

Gentle purrs, a soothing trap

Relaxed and calm, without a care

Peaceful moments, beyond compare

As you stretch, every bone in sight

You resemble jello, a delightful sight

Playing with wool, a joyful mess

Laughter ensues, as you're tangled, I confess

A ball of energy, unstoppable and free

Nothing slows you down, wild and carefree

My ball of fluff, loved and adored

Faithful companion, forever implored

In time of need, you're always near

Reliable and true, dispelling fear

My feline friend, dear to my heart

Forever cherished, we never part

  • Comment from author about the poem: I asked one of my friends to give me a suggestion to write about. All they said was cat and wool. This is what i came up with from that suggestion.

A furry companion that one can relate to. Very nicely done
