Morning Walk

Jerry Reynolds

As she braced the crisp
Morning air.
Around her, a dust devil swirled.
Gently carrying Blossoms
From fruit trees plucked.
Silently she went her way.
Me another.
In a moment fair
Some love was shared.

Very nice. I love poems that are on the edge of enigmatic and clear and this is one. So many possible symbols and metaphors yet one thing is clear and that is the images and the ending that love was shared. I suppose it is up to the reader to determine how and with what. A most lovely feeling accompanies this poem and that is always as sign of greatness and art a fave Jerry

Having read this many times kudos dear Jerry, it is in fact how love should arrive suddenly and unpredictably ❤️
