Something comes bubbling up inside me,
A gnawing feeling
at the core of my being
that will not be ignored.
And I don’t know what it is, not yet.
Nevertheless, it pushes to be heard,
To be felt.
It comes bursting
out of my mouth—
a blood-curdling scream
raking the air with its rawness.
Fueled by anger and sorrow,
I feel it might never stop.
It empties out of me
Leaving me lighter than before.

A well written rawness to this poem a fave
Enjoyed the read, anger and sorrow can build up inside so much that you do feel lighter when you let it out, nicely expressed and written
