All things possible to a child
Defeating dragons, they fly where no one dies
Live in dreams dancing wild and mild
There are no lies in their smiling eyes
Drinking joy in drunken sips
Bottled sunbeams excited foam released
Where lies become truth that drips from tiny lips
Ugliness deceased where innocence killed the beast

Thank you John I as always appreciate your read and kind words of support.
A truely delightful little verse, petite in its innocence, as if written by a child, so convincing its wholeheartedness. Just lovely.
All the best,
Tony.
Thank you Tony your words of encouragement mean a great deal. Little children have saved my life and I will always be thankful for that
Your poem masterfully explores the timeless themes of innocence, imagination, and the transformative journey from childhood to adulthood. It beautifully captures the essence of dreaming, the unbridled joy of childhood experiences, and the poignant loss of innocence that accompanies growth. Your poem serves as a poignant reminder of the breathtaking beauty and magic of childhood, juxtaposed with the inevitable loss of innocence that comes with aging, inspiring us to cherish imagination and joy in our lives. For some reason, life seems so beautiful and effortless as a child, and it's amazing how that innocence can inspire us as adults to appreciate life's simple joys. I cherish the memories of my childhood.
Thanks so much for the review and read your interpretation is most appreciated.
Good write SB.
Thanks Orchi for the read.
Wow, coming from your deep understanding of the mind I think this is wonderfully powerful, although we could argue this, I doubt any baby in a pram would smile at Trump, just to say LoL π€£

Innocence is the answer! Such a nice reflection on innocence and the power of it. We need to stop forgetting our childlike nature in the complexities of life.

Loved this. Brought me back to those innocent days and pondering exactly when they flew away with, instead of fighting, another dragon. Well done, my friend! From the heavens, Draco shines down. Well done. A fave. πΉπ

I love the line : "Defeating dragons, they fly where no one dies."
It, to me, signifies strongly that state of nostalgia or memory that never dies. It's with us forever. Like captured in time, almost. I'm not finding the right words to explain what I mean, sorry π
Beautifully written, thanks for sharing your talent with the world!

truer words were never spoken. the innocence of kids is a wonder to behold, and shines out from their fresh and beautiful faces, until the world starts polluting their impressionable minds
