poetry

lunarchloedip

interest?
more like bruised fingers and damp pages
pen choreography crafted meticulously
in desperation to prioritise self-expression
more like prayer
manifestation
experimentation
unexpected realisation
more like serenity
the only thing that comforts me
the remedy when tachycardia makes it it hard to breathe

words written to fill the silence
to acknowledge the silence
to give my voice a chance
to be listened to, understood and empathised with
held by people who don't even know my name

more like notebooks and paper and napkins
ink-stained and spiralling
suffering and healing in books and documents
and the backs of my hands

my hand holding the hands of complete strangers
and that feeling perfectly safe

interest? INTEREST? no, adoration.

I LOVE POETRY.

Your adoration for poetry bleeds through the pages in the beautiful and creative verses you write; you have the talent for it that only comes to those who love it so. 😊 💐
