Eating

NinjaGirl

What do you do when you hide the food?

When you eat until you're full

And continue until you can't.

What do you do when they still say you look skinny?

When your BMI is in range

But you're no longer healthy

What do you do when you've gained ten pounds?

When you see your belly

And feel the weight

What do you do when nobody else sees the struggle?

Even when you say it out loud?

I care... I work on my wife's weight and help her. So, yes, your message is relatable. So, thank you for sharing it. Be blessed!

Eating disorders are serious and felt to beyond the person's control. Help is available but not all help works so find someone you can work with and trust. A brave write especially since most find it very hard to talk about and keep it secret.

A important write that will be relatable to many, one of the hidden disorders that many suffer from for a multitude of reasons, nicely done

i empathize with you - have heard a lot of comments when commented upon about y weight - although i always tried to avoid bingeing...and in fact was always trying to avoid what i enjoyed most [reverse factor here]
hope you will climb out of this stage soon...
