The Carousel of Critics

Tristan Robert Lange

Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Healing is coming along, but now I am away for my job and will not be on as often as I wish I could be. So, I just thought I would put this out there as an explanation so people donโ€™t think Iโ€™m flaking off or ghosting. Thank you for reading, engaging, and understanding. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿ™ See you intermittently and on the other side! Read, write, fucking rebel! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ˜
The carousel of critics
Circulates around,
Each one bound
To give their fill;
There’s plenty to hate,
The entertained are irate,
Want their money back—
The sacrifice—
Not selfless enough—
Sacrilege to the sanctimonious
Sellouts
Shooting shit till it showers.
Someday,
The spinning will cease, right?

What? Your head?! Yes, at some point it'll fall right off and the corpse will be declared "decapitated." Consider the term under discussion: "critic/s...." it carries in its essence the ensuing chagrin and grief of its prey. On the other hand, its root owns salvation for whom will hearken. Thus the conundrum. Gorgeously rendered with nigh exquisite imagery and a fitly haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Yeah, more likely my head will fall of first! LOL! Thank you, my friend. Your humor, time, and understanding are much appreciated! ๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŽญ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿง

For sure! And they always leave room for others to sink their rows of teeth into, don't they? Just when you think, "Wow, there's no more left of me to bite" ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿฆˆ Thank you so much for your time and feedback, my friend.

So many critics that at the artists expense gain entry and complain about the quality of the ride. They could not build it but feel they must give their input on how it could be better. Very nice Tristan

Critic's,(we should bless them), for they lack the intelligence and ability to do anything else, how entertaining it must be to give advice on making something better that you actually know nothing about and you are useless at. It's a positive thing to keep them occupied, otherwise what else might they be doing!!!!, enjoyed the read

What an interesting poem! Such an interesting idea, using a carousel. I like it!

                      • Tristan Robert Lange

'Criticism is the only reliable form of autobiography', Oscar Wild. I love the idea of 'The Carousel of Critics', round and round in their lofty pronouncements, dizzy in their egos, spouting out their judgments on a foundation of nothing whilst wallowing in hate. Another excellent poem from your bureau.

All the very best to you,

                        Tony.

Powerful critique of the criticism cycle! Your words hit hard and resonate.

                          • Tristan Robert Lange

Thank you, dearest Salvia. Glad it delivered, my friend. Much appreciated! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

lol oh so clever, actually opinions are worth everything and nothing depending of the person recieving the words. Personally I have learnt that the people I've met in London are the same as in Italy, different accents but the same ways. Such a fun and interesting subject ๐ŸŒน

Truth. People are people are people, no matter where in the world. Cultures and locations change, but people remain people. Thank you, my friend. Glad the poem delivered. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

I can only hope you are right about it ceasing. Politicians are, after all, professional liars.

They are. Not sure I am right, or just hoping...most likely the latter. Thanks Dan. Much appreciated, my friend. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘
