How hard can one try
Before the body and mind
Break down?
Go round and round
In circles
Hurtle through the third dimension
Ascension is out of my hands
Down the best way to take the
Weight off the shoulder
Stand can't be done for
Twenty four hours

"The weight you bear is heavy, Pressed deep into weary bones. Round and round—endless motion, Yet still nowhere to call home.
Let the silence ease your shoulders, Let the wind take what it may. Ascension isn’t always climbing— Some burdens fall and drift away."
Your words resonate with quiet power.
"Ascension isn't always climbing." Love it! Thanks for the beautiful and inspiring poem and comment.
Most welcome MR🕊️🙏🏻
Here(pardon the pun) is a heavy poem. Word play makes for great meaning (down can be directional and emotional) a wonderful write.
Yes, a heavy one in search of some lightness! Thanks for dropping by.
Deep thought in this write, enjoyed
This one was fermenting for a while, then bubbled up double quick!
I love the word play. This poem carries much emotional weight and is profoundly powerful, my friend. Well done! 🌹👏
Thank you! A little word play to take some of the heavy seriousness out of it.
You are most welcome.
There is something about this poem that is quite visual and intense. The poem lifts only a veil of its meaning though at the same time is one of those that can be sensed or felt, like a key turning into a locket finally unlocking a hidden door.
I hid the door from myself for a long time! Thanks for dropping by.
