Harry Brags.

Poetic Licence

Harry Braggs.

Harry has always tried to be one of the lads.

The girls he's pulled he has always bragged.

Forever talking of the night of pure passion.

When out he always pulled without question.

You knew in truth that he was just talking crap.

When he boasted he'd done this and then that.

Yet he would win you over with a cheeky smile.

Making you rethink possibly this is not all lies.

One night we are watching rubbish on the telly.

The conversation was fun and had got a bit silly.

Out of the blue came chilling words from Mary.

That last night she finally popped Harry's cherry.

Harry went bright red and emphatically denied.

Harry had been caught out with one of his lies.

Then he realised that bragging is not that clever

The experience had changed Harry for the better.

Harry is still one of the much-loved trendy lads.

Harry now tells the truth now he no longer brags.

Memories of teenage Lotharios while I kept my mouth firmly closed..... and almost, but not quite lost the plot...

          Thanks Tobani.
