You Can't Handle The Truth

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

The ghost of Aleister Crowley is hiding under your quilt,

Our planetary experience shouldn't be do as thou wilt.

We look for escapism, Xboxes and PlayStations,

Greed and justifications are contorting all nations.

Leaders actions for the betterment of mankind?

More like self-serving motivations, don't be blind.

Breathing in the air but it doesn't really feel fresh,

After our minds since entering the baby crèche.

Gravity Falls is just a little kid's show they show on Disney?

Showing the Shriners, the Mason's, all seeing eye, the enemy.

You can't handle the truth, Jack Nicholson shouts from the TV.

A fave fot the message and the subtle and not so subtle symbols of secretive meaning in this poem. Well penned with subliminal messages well planted. Nicely done
