Dear Friend,

daisydoo

Dear friend,

Your impact on my life won’t be forgotten,

The person who made me think philosophically.

You broadened my mind, forcing me to question life and all its ways.

You were also someone who reignited old passions. You truly push people to be their best.

I won’t ever be the philosopher you are but thank you, for giving me a look into your mind, even for a moment.

To my friend,

I’m sorry for your last day.

I know I was a mess but I didn’t think I’d cry.

I wasn’t going to cry.

Until,

I saw your tears, you always were so strong.

I know I said very little that day

And I often wish I’d said more before you went home,

But the tears had me in a chokehold

But I think,

I hope, my last words to you said everything I needed to, even through my sobs:

“Please don’t go”
