A Bond by Flight (Jan 2023)

Silent_Shay

Sitting at the airport excited and ready to go

On a flight I had booked just three hours ago

Confused as I walked to the counter where the crew had changed my seat

Little did I know that it was how fate had us meet

Silently and wearily I slumped over into the chair

Unbeknownst of the companionship that would soon take off in the air

From strangers to friends, our conversations were deeply engaged

Just like in a movie, but only this wasn’t staged

Time and space stood still,

And I believe that that was fate’s will.

Though I may not remember your name, I can’t forget your face

I hope one day we meet again and pick up from that place

How quickly chance meetings can turn into a friendship. A lovely write

Thank you! And yes we just have to be open to the opportunity.

A lovely write about never knowing what can come your way, how fate works in mysterious ways, enjoyed the read

Thank you! Agreed, life aligns mysteriously, and it’s never an accident.
