This is very deeply moving, T. ππ»π
Thank you, my friend. Indeed, it was a moving moment to witness. Animals have so much to teach us. Thank you for your time and feedback. Much appreciated, always. ππΉ
They do l, very intuitive as well ππ»ποΈ
Yes! Very!
Who says that dogs do not feel loss or pain that they do not mourn, they more than us. A sad write.
Thank you, Soren! Your words are spot on, my friend. They absolutely do, and had my daughter not asked, I would have denied our Golden that right we all should have, thinking it was βwhatβs bestβ. Thankfully I listened to my daughterβs wisdom and made the right decision. Thanks, always, for your time and thoughts! πΎπ―οΈππ
A poignant tribute to the bond between pets and their owners. Both heartbreaking and beautiful.
Thank you, Salvia! Indeed it is both! They really are family members who devote all of themselves to their familyβ¦including their mischief! ππ€£ Your time and thoughts are much appreciated, my friend. πΎπ―οΈππ
Sad and heartbreaking, they are more sensitive and feel more than we ever will, take care
For sure. π― Thank you so much, my friend! πΎπ―οΈππ
You are very welcome
There's nothing quite like that analogy, especially after watching Marley and Me. Coincidence is an eerie thing when I am stuck with your latest posts. Torn between wanting to weep and confusion, thank you for sharing. Beautifully rendered with a striking simplicity whose eloquence is irresistible. Thank you again for sharing.
Coincidence indeed! Or divine? Either way, wow! Great film too! Thank you so very much, my friend! I am going to call this divine. Another sign! πΎπ―οΈππ
Excellent write Tristan
Thank you so much, Tony. πΎπ―οΈππ
Is this a picture of your own dogs? I can't even watch 'Lassie' without getting upset! This is too sad. π’ I never watch the film of Marley and Me, as I've read the book, and know how it ends.
Second comment to reference Marley and Me! Methinks that is a sign. Yeah! Sad film. Though I love it.
As for the pic, not my dogs. AI generated. The pic in my Chloe poem looks sorta/kinda like Chloe. The Golden in this looks like ours, but ours is an English Cream and younger. πΎπ―οΈππ
I can't watch Marley film on TV - too sad. I read the book - know how it ends. 'Here Lassie, good girl!' Or was Lassie a boy really? I will ask Fido - he knows.
The grief can be equal to the loss of a close human friend.
Take care, Tristan.
Thank you, Dave! This was a heavy loss indeed. Your read and your well wishes are most appreciated! πΎπ―οΈππ
I like how you chose the word "resoluteness" in this one, Tristan!
Indeed! Thank you for noticing and appreciating that choice. πΎπ―οΈππ
So very true. Mine was the most devoted of a number of companions. Thanks for this.
You are most welcome, Dan! Thank you for reading, reflecting and sharing. Much appreciated! πΎπ―οΈππ
How bitter sweet . Oh my! Touches the β€οΈ heart.
Indeed. Thank you, my dear friend, for your time, presence, and heart felt comment. Much appreciated! πΎπ―οΈππ
I was truly sorry to read this last week, I hope you have found some fond memories to pack into your mind, dogs are like family so I know how much pain we can feel. πΉ
Thank you, Teddy. I have. This past week was a week of grief, and while that grief continues, we are healing. Our Chloe's ashes came home to us with some fur. While that may be just ash, she'll always be with us no matter what. Thank you so much for your empathy, my dear friend. β€οΈ
