You're Not In Control Anymore

Xalvazora

You’ve hurt me so much,

It’s still painful.

I’ve been degraded,

Let Down,

Yelled at,

Neglected...

I haven’t processed them.

Trying to talk to you,

Is frustrating -

I get nowhere with you.

You’re like a wall,

So I stop trying.

I think you’re upset at yourself,

You’ve been getting upset at me,

For the little things,

Oftentimes,

For things out of my control.

I say, “I love you,” I love you,

But there needs to be distance between us.

I have to leave in order to grow.

I need to leave to prcoess.

After process,

Comes healing.

After healing,

Comes peace.

I take control over my life,

Not you.

I take responsibility,

Unlike you.

As I close this chapter,

I’ll open a new one.

Until then,

I’ll tolerate you.

A bit of a one way conversation about growth and tolerance. Nicely done.
