Sometimes

Sometimes 

we wander 

and feel like 

their climbing more ladders 

their achieving more 

experiencing more 

and we’re left feeling a little like 

Were not trying enough 

getting far enough 

not always feeling good enough 

we wander , why 

we feel like we feel a little 

Behind in life 

in getting further 

experiencing the more of the new 

knowing how to be like some others 

we wander if we’re doing something wrong 

not trying enough ? Maybe .. 

and are they trying more 

not trying enough ? 
how much do I have to try .. 

left behind in life 

missing out on so much 

for some reason 

wandering why 

why do they know how to ‘ do’ life 

and I don’t .. 

maybe I’m not trying enough 

but life’s not a ‘ test ‘ 

and shouldn’t be hard
