The Trees Dance

notapoet

Beneath a sky of whispered blue,
A tree begins its dance anew,
Its branches sway with wild delight,
Caressed by the wind in morning light.

Each leaf a note in nature's song,
It twirls and bends, both proud and strong,
The rhythm hums through bark and bough,
A secret shared in sacred vow.

The wind, a lover soft and free,
Moves through the arms of every tree,
And as it dances, joy unbinds—
A gift it gives to Earth and minds.

That joy flows down in trembling streams,
Through roots that hold forgotten dreams,
It pulses deep in earthen veins,

Like laughter woven into rains.

The soil drinks in this rooted kiss,
A quiet thrill, a whispered bliss,

And flowers bloom where joy has passed,
Love planted deep, designed to last.

So when you see a tree in spin,
Just know it hears the song within,

And shares its dance with all below—
A rhythm only roots can know.
